Our Story

I’ve been an avid hunter and fisherman for as long as I can remember. About five years ago, I started out in my basement creating taxidermy pieces for myself, family, and friends. What began as a simple hobby quickly turned into a true passion - combining my love for the outdoors with the art of preserving those once-in-a-lifetime moments.

That passion led to the creation of Hillbilly Taxidermy, where every mount tells a story and every project captures the thrill of the hunt. Since officially opening in November 2024, I’ve had the privilege of completing an apprenticeship under a skilled taxidermist in West Virginia. I have worked on a variety of projects including elk, whitetail deer, mule deer, exotic rams and goats, turkeys and bears.

Based in Pueblo, Colorado, Hillbilly Taxidermy proudly serves hunters from across the Rockies and beyond. Our mission is simple — we are dead serious about taxidermy. Our goal is to preserve your outdoor memories with authenticity, craftmanship, and heart. We are dedicated to producing mounts that capture the raw beauty and emotion of the hunt, using only high-quality materials and techniques that stand the test of time.
